PDF Splitter
Extract a page range from any PDF.
About this tool
The PDF Splitter extracts a specific page range from any PDF file, saving the selected pages as a new standalone document. It's useful for sharing a specific chapter, extracting a single form, or breaking a large report into sections.
How it works
- Upload your PDF using the file picker or drag and drop.
- Enter the page range you want to extract - for example, pages 3-7.
- Click Split/Extract to generate the new PDF.
- Download the extracted pages.
Example use cases
- Chapter extraction: Extract pages 45-72 from a 200-page textbook PDF to share only the relevant chapter with a study group.
- Invoice separation: Split a multi-invoice PDF into individual single-page files for accounting and record-keeping.
Frequently asked questions
Can I extract non-consecutive pages?
The current tool supports contiguous page ranges. To extract non-consecutive pages, run the splitter multiple times and then merge the results.
Does splitting affect the quality of the extracted pages?
No - the extracted pages are taken directly from the original PDF and maintain identical quality.
